Lower back pain and deadlifts!

Has lower back pain stopped you from deadlifting? Or maybe someone has told you to stop lifting weights when your back is sore? Then this post is for you 👊

.

Weight training and deadlifts in particular are often singled out as dangerous and to be avoided when you have back pain. HOWEVER, research has shown us this is quite the opposite! Deadlifts have been shown to make your back stronger and healthier. Deadlifts are the ultimate “functional exercise” as its looks very similar to something we all do everyday! We pick stuff up off the ground!

.

A recent study has shown by lifting heavy weights (including deadlifts) strength and quality of life massively improves and pain is reduced by 72%!!! 😍

.

So, if you are currently deadlifting, GOOD! Keep deadlifting. But if you are avoiding deadlifting, START deadlifting!

.

If you do not have any experience in deadlifting or you feel your technique needs work, then contact us for a full breakdown of your lift 🏋️‍♂️
